When you are watering a lot, your plants need food to survive

Many people are afraid to fertilize their plants during hot weather because they feel they will burn their plants. You may in fact have to increase your fertilizer applications to make certain that your plants continue to thrive in the warm weather!

Jack's Classic^® plant foods are very pure and will not burn your plants - even in the hot weather! When you are watering every day, plant nutrients get washed out and need to be replenished on a weekly basis. This is especially true of hanging baskets or container plants in soilless media. This type of media does not retain nutrients very long and the plants are going to be searching for food that isn't there. I recommend a weekly or at least every 10th day application of either Jack's Classic^® All Purpose 20-20-20 or the Blossom Booster 10-30-20 at a rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon.
