The HozonTM
is a great way to apply Jack's Classic fertilizers to your landscape and
garden. A great match with our new 10lb sizes of Jack's Classic!
How it works!
The
Hozon is a brass proportioner unit that screws on between the water
faucet and a hose. It has a small rubber hose connected to it’s
side that is dropped into a bucket of fertilizer concentrate. When the
water is running, fertilizer concentrate is pulled out of the bucket and
is diluted in the stream of water. The Hozon runs at a rate of 1:16,
meaning that one gallon of fertilizer concentrate makes 16 gallons of
fertilizer out of the hose.
To apply any Jack’s Classic fertilizer
at the rate of 1 tablespoon per gallon, dissolve one cup of fertilizer
(approximately 6.5 ounces by weight) in each gallon of water. For
instance, for a five gallon bucket dissolve 5 cups, or 2 pounds, of
fertilizer in 5 gallons of water. This five gallon bucket of concentrate will
make 75 gallons of fertilizer out of the hose!
