Orchids grown in fir bark medium require additional nitrogen to satisfy not only the plants requirements but also to satisfy the breakdown of the bark medium on which they are growing. This formula emphasizes the vegetative growth stage (leaves) and will assure that the plants requirements will be satisfied as the new leaves develop and mature. It is an excellent root and foliar feeding product not only for orchids but also for all turf and ornamental grasses.
